Grounded upon strong interdisciplinary research, this cluster is organised around one primary issue : "How can we live better in a given environment ?" It explores the fragility of anthropoecosysteme to global changes (climate, demography) and to high socioeconomic pressure. It questions societal issues dealing with the preservation of natural resources, the development of sustainable agriculture and the management of industrial risk. Its research teams work in harmony with the environmental specificities of the regional territory.
